Hi,
When I go to edit a page and add the Blog Posts element in the Advanced Layout Builder, choose ‘Display entries from a custom taxonomy’, the taxonomies are not there in the list. I want to select a specific category to show but nothing shows up. What am I doing wrong?Hi domesticspecialist!

Did you create any portfolio entries or custom post types? If not, create those items then apply a category or custom taxonomy.

IsmaelThat feature only works with portfolio posts, not just regular blog posts? I have tons a blog posts that are tagged with certain categories. That’s not enough for the custom taxonomy display to work?

Did you create a custom post type or using the default post items? If you’re using the default post, you don’t need to set it to a custom taxonomy. And you lost me when you say “tagged” and “categories” in the same sentence. Did you add tags or categories?

IsmaelMaybe I’m wording things wrong. I’m knew to Enfold and I’m not good with explaining these things in writing. Let me explain what I’m trying to do, maybe that would work better.
I want to create a page, using the advanced layout builder, that shows only blog posts from a specific category. For example, I have a lot of blog posts in the “recipes” category. I want to create a page that lists all of those.

I tried adding a blog post element to a test page but like you said no categories are showing up, could you try updating to the latest version (3.4.7) to see if that helps? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
