    Simple question – if I use the invisable header until scrolled, does this have any negative impact on SEO and if not, why?
    My client likes the effect but is worried it will lose him SEO juice. I need to be able to make him happy with this result.

    I don’t think it will, the content is still there and is readable by crawlers.

    No, you will not lose “juice”. The HTML is still there behind the scenes. It’s no different than hiding something on mobile or hiding something on desktop. As Rikard says, the crawlers will find what they need to find.
