Is there a way to reject contact form submissions if text or textarea fields contain a URL? This seems like a great way to reduce spamming.
Also, can the contact form be linked to Akismet?

There are plugins that can do that for you. You need to use one of the anti-spam plugins.
These plugins might help to prevent spams and get rid of third party scripts.
