Hello,
I have a Image und this has a manual link to e pdf-File (https://…..pdf). The PDF File is opened in a Fancybox, which has a display problem on iphones, so I just want to open it in a new tab. How can I disable the lightbox in this case. class=”nolightbox” doesn’t work, because the avia-image generates the a-Tag by itself and I cannot influence this.Kind Regards,
FranzOctober 3, 2019 at 2:15 pm #1144472please try : noLightbox – it seems to be case-sensitive.
And on ALB options you have choosen: Open new tab/window : Open in new windowand by the way – all my pdf open in new tab – without doing anything on special settings. This is on my opinion the standard behavior – so don’t know why on your settings the pdf opens in the lightbox.
October 3, 2019 at 3:31 pm #1144488Yes, I ‘ve chosen: Open new Window in the link option in image settings dialog. The Button Element has the same link settings and opens the pdf in a new tab, but the image element in the lightbox. The noLightBox class will be inserted in the div-element, not in die a-tag, when I add an optional css code in image element.
October 3, 2019 at 4:08 pm #1144514the class comes to the image ALB.
PS What button – show me please the link to the concerning Element.October 3, 2019 at 4:42 pm #1144546What do you mean with ALB?
There are two Elements for Downloading the PDF on this site, a button and an image, which shows the first page of the folder as thumbnail. That’s all…
October 3, 2019 at 5:18 pm #1144560how did you insert the image?
You are in the Advanced Layout Builder ( ALB ) and drag and drop to your layout the image ALB?-

The best solution would be if you could specify the link:
– Open in same Window
– Open in new Window OR
– Open in LightboxBut last is not possible.
Can anyone help?

MikeOctober 8, 2019 at 1:43 pm #1146169Hello,
here is the Link to a Testpage. The Images always open a Lightbox. They have a manual Link to a PDF (https://……pdf). It’s the same, if you choose “new Window” or “same Window”. If you do the same by the button element, it opens a new tab and this were the prefered action.
Best regards,
FranzOctober 9, 2019 at 5:03 am #1146356Hi,
Thank you for the test page, I see that the Enfold defaults are being overridden by a plugin “fancyboxforwp” I tried to change this with some javascript but could not. I found on my fresh install that the image links to a pdf will open in a “new window” if the setting in the image element is used, so the error is with the plugin. Please disable the plugin or ask the plugin author if there is an option to disable on a case-by-case basis.Best regards,
MikeOctober 9, 2019 at 10:39 pm #1146650Thank you very much Mike :-), we disabled this plugin and now we have the desired action.

I have the same problem in version 4.8.7.1. I want to open an image in a new tab/window. However, it always opens in the lightbox. How can I change this?
Thanks
