When we hoover over the Fullwidth Easy Slider image on our home page, a small box is displayed with the image file name. The same thing is happening on another page with a Portfolio Grid. How can we eliminate these hoover boxes?
Hey Mike,
I think what you’re talking about is the tooltip for the title of the image. It’s best to include a title that describes the image. However, if you really want to remove it, you can either keep the title field blank for your images, OR remove the attribute entirely by following the instructions here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-to-remove-tooltips/#post-224464
Best regards,
Sarah
I have tried going into the media library and deleting the title for an image. When I hit Update, instead of deleting the title, it replaces it with the filename of the image.
Any suggestions on how I can delete the title? I would much rather do that then change the theme script files.
Thanks for the help.
Hi,
You can try this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/image-title-remove/
