I would like to use the “download” attributes for PDF files. This does not work if the page preloader is turned on. Does anyone have any idea how I can disable the Pagepreloader for links that contain the attribute “download”?

    Hey davinc,

Could you post a link to where we can see the actual problem? Do you mean that you are linking directly to the document and it won’t open if the preloader is active?

    Best regards,

it is not really a problem. It would only be nice if I could use the HTML5 “download” attribute even if the pagepreloader is turned on. I want to link to a PDF that does not open in the browser. This only works if the pagepreloader is off.

    Hi,

Thanks for that, so I’m guessing the link with the download attribute should download, as opposed to open in the browser as is the case now? I’m not all too familiar with that attribute to be honest with you.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
