Hello, is there a way to easily disable or hide the comments on the blog post pages? In the theme settings i’ve unchecked comments but they are still showing. In the past i’ve just hidden with CSS but was wondering if there is a better way to do this?

VictoriaI’m logged in, i don’t have the option that you see there to check or uncheck commenting. I have full admin access too.

You need to check the Screen options on top of the page and check the checkboxes for comments and discussion.

Victoriaoh got it, sorry about that. Is there a way to do this more universally instead of on every individual blog page?

For future comments, you can go to Settings > Discussion > uncheck Allow people to submit comments on new posts
As for old posts, you can go to Posts > select Everything (check the checkbox on top) > select Edit then click the Apply button then set Comments to Do not allow.
