I cannot seem to get directions working for the maps? I would like it so when you click the map either an area for your current location for directions shows up or it just launches Google maps. Can you help please?

    Hey!

What aribann posted seems like a pretty solid solution :)

Sorry for the delay all, but this looks great. Is there an option that we can easily fill in other directions too. I see the configuration of how to add an address but not sure how to get the longitude and latitude. Is there a simple formula that we can insert custom info into moving forward. Thanks for the responses all!

Well thank you to whoever sent me a nasty message to my inbox questioning my development abilities. The entire point of a “HELP” forum is to ask for “HELP” and to get better at web development. I am currently not seeing an area to insert that info into the bubble and was asking for an easy way to grab the coordinates (which I see is displayed when you fetch the coordinates) so I can add them for other sites that I create that want an easy, clickable way to get directions. It would seem this function should be built in since that is really the point of the map anyhow. Is this a tall order on a support forum?

Maybe this is an HTML or CSS function I am not versed in. Lets just keep it professional here. I am simply asking for advice and if this angers you, grow up and move on to another thread. Thanks to those who are actually making an effort to help me resolve this issue….

Thanks for the reply, I am able to grab the coordinates from the google map piece of Enfold. I was just hoping to find out where to add that chunk of code that was provided into the bubble. Any help there would be much appreciated. Thanks for all the help and responses so far…..

    Hey!

I’m not sure who sent that message to you but I do know it doesn’t come from any of the support team member. Anyway, please edit the google map element then select an address. You can add the link on the Marker Tooltip field.

    Cheers!

    Hello Ismael,

Thanks for the reply. No worries about people sending nasty comments, they obviously have nothing better to do, plus the instructions given did not work.? It seems that the code that was given before is now gone by aribann. Even when I had the code I did add it to the tooltip field and it just displays the code and does not link directly. I absolutely hate to drag this out or be a pain but it think it is an important feature for the map to be clickable for directions. Is a plugin the way to go here? Just trying to get this working. BTW, you staff has always been great and very responsive. I do appreciate you trying to help me with this issue…..

In the end I just decided to embed the code directly from Google which displays everything I need. I was really hoping to use the theme map since I could set a marker image and add my own text when clicked but it seems to be to much of a pain. If you know a way to use the theme map to my advantage please let me know!

    Here even improved it

Put it in Info Bubble Content:

That was the ticket fellas. Thanks so much for all of your help. Not sure why the code was not working in the tooltip before? Either way it works now. Many thanks guys!
