It is possible to restrict certain LayerSliders to certain kind of pages? Because when I create several LayerSliders and set the autoplay option, it plays all the slider, even those that I don’t want to show.
Thank you.
August 2, 2013 at 7:17 am #132536I can’t reproduce this issue on my test server. I.e. here: http://test.inoplugs.com/imprint/ I embedded two layerslider sliders. Both sliders have exactly the same configuration but the first slider will start the slideshow automatically and the second slider won’t.
Try following
1) Update the theme (including the slider) to the latest version 1.8.4. Maybe the layerSlider authors fixed the issue with 4.6.0 and you’re using an older layerslider version.
2) Try to deactivate all third party plugins (including cache plugins) – maybe a plugin conflicts with the layerslider autoplay mode.
August 6, 2013 at 9:27 am #132537Hi, sorry for the delay.
No, that’s not what I want to do. What I want to do is to show for example, on page 1 only the sliders 1 and 2, and on page 2, sliders 3 and 4, for example.
August 6, 2013 at 9:32 am #132538Tbh I don’t understand the question then. If you can create two separate and independent sliders with different options you can insert Slider A on page 1 and 2 and slider B on page 3 and 4 and they won’t interact with each other. Of course you can’t use the same slider and show slide 1 and 2 on page A and slide 3 and 4 on page B – that won’t work.

August 7, 2013 at 12:39 pm #132540Hi!
No, as demonstrated here: http://test.inoplugs.com/imprint/ the sliders won’t affect each other. You can insert two sliders with different settings on the same page without risking any conflicts. On my demo page both slider are exactly the same but I just changed the “autoplay” setting of the second slider (I switched it off). As you can see the first slider still starts with the slideshow automatically but the second slider doesn’t show slide 2 until the user hits the “next” button.

August 9, 2013 at 5:52 pm #132541I think that I’m not explaining properly hahaha (sorry for my english)
Imagine that I have two differents pages. As well, I have 4 different sliders. I want to show slider 1 and 2 (with autoplay) on page 1, and slider 3 and 4, on page 2 (with autoplay as well). That’s my question. It’s possible?
I know that you can set differents set up for each slider, but that’s not my question ;)
Hope that my explanation is better now.
August 9, 2013 at 7:59 pm #132542Hi Pedro,
Yes of course. As Peter showed in his example you can add multiple sliders to a page without issue.

Devin

Maybe it will help you. It helped me.
Good luck
August 12, 2013 at 1:09 am #132545Hi,
I think Dude’s suggestion is what you’re looking for. Create two or three sliders, one layer slider for page 1 and the other for page 2. You can’t select or filter the slides to show on a certain page and not on the other.

Ismael
