Hi again,
a thing I was leaving for the end, but also important.
The blog page has a different Footer+socket layout compared to the rest of the pages of the site. I mean, it is essentially the same but on the blog page it appears WAY taller than in the the rest.
I can not seem to get rid of it.
May I ask if yu would mind taking a look at it? It would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance! :)
Hi Juan,
I can’t see any difference between the front page and the blog page, please try to clear your browser cache and reload a few times to see if that helps.
Thanks,
Rikard
Yep, thanks. That causes no effect, however I find it to be something related with Firefox+screen resolution/size.
The main machine in which the site is beign made is iMac 27″ at max resolution while on other testing machines (two iMac 21″ & laptop) it renders ok…
Thanks!
Hey!
Thats actually intended behavior. the page always ends at the same height. appended are footer and socket and after the socket is the default page background that is always the same as the socket so it seems that the socket stretches for the rest of the screen. the alternative would be to apply a different background color, which doesnt look as good if you ask me.
You can do that if you add this to your custom.css stylesheet in folder /css/ or to the quick-css panel located in your wordpress backend at Enfold->General Styling:
html{ background-color: #ffffff; }
