    Hi Kriesi Team,

I wonder why I have different Footers in one Enfold Theme / Site?

One version (the right one!) looks like this: https://goo.gl/Bkyhax
The other (what is wrong) looks like that: https://goo.gl/umF1Jc

What must I do to get them equal?

    Kind regards – Marc

    Hi Marc,

Thanks for that. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.2) to see if that helps please? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Marc,

Could you please enable the Advanced Layout Builder debug mode. Here is how to do it: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/

Looks like it’s the last code block on the pages that makes rendering happen like that.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Victoria,

ok, I enabled the Advanced Layout Builder debug mode by adding some code to the child functions.php.

    What must I do now?

(The last code block is just a closing “–>” Comment-Tag, because all elements between the 2 comments, I might using later.)

KR and thank you very much for your help.

    Marc
=> Just seen: The code block is also on sites, where the footer looks good! So maybe, this is not the reason.

    Hi Marc,

Yes, the arrow is a closing html comment, it seems to break things. Why do you have it? You need to have both for comments

    Hi Victoria,

the opening html comment was higher on this site. I deleted it, and the footer looks good.

So, I now know the reason. :-)

Thank you very much for your help, Victoria.
    Thanks Rikard. :-)

    And have a nice christmas.
