    Hi Kriesi-Team.

The following question isn´t really about an exact (code-)problem – it´s more about the general understanding of the behaviour between the Enfold-theme and woocommerce.

Please see the details and my questions in the private content area.

    Thanks a lot and greetings
    Manuel

    Hey Manuel,

You might consider using a plugin for that, f. ex. https://wordpress.org/plugins/conditional-menus/.
If you want to do it without a plugin, you will need to write code, for rendering different menus on certain pages.

If you need further assistance please let us know.
    Best regards,

    Hi Victoria.

Thanks for your reply and the plugin-link.
At the moment, I´m doing fine without a plugin (after testing some of these), just by putting the “individual search”-widget in the “Sidebar Pages”, “Sidebar Overview” and the “Single Produkte” widget slots.
Now, in the sidebar, the categories and subcategories for both ares are still shown together, but now they are coloured seperately – a good compromise, even if I don´t know, how I did it. :-)
There is just the problem, mentioned in the private content area, that the shown sidebar-categroies “change”, when a product is shown (e.g.: the product is based in category A, but in the sidebar the subcategories for B are shown).

Do you have any idea for this situation?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Manuel,

The htpassword credentials did not work for some reason, but I do not see the conflict even in the links.

    Best regards,

    Hi Manuel,

This code hides the other parent category and its subcategories. This menu that you put there is not dynamic. Whatever you put on the menu is what you get.

    Hi Victoria.

Perfect, thanks for the reply and the code.

So, do I have to change the code in the CSS-Stylesheet to “all” instead of “none” to get the complete sidebar-menu with all categories and subcategories? Am I right with that?

    Thanks for your kind help.

    Greetings
    Manuel

    Hi,
    Try inherent instead of none.

    Hi Mike.

    Thanks for the reply.
Sorry for that noob-question: In which CSS-file can I find that piece of code? I already searched in the “normal” style.css in the enfold-parent theme, the costum.css, the style.css in the child-theme, etc.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Manuel,

This code can be somewhere in your Quick css.

    Hi Mike.

    Sorry for the late answer.
The problem is solved (a question for a little correction is mentioned in anohter thread) – so this thread here can be closed.

    Thanks for all.
