Hallo,
February 20, 2018 at 4:28 am #914657Hey alexanderpischke,

February 20, 2018 at 10:15 am #914766Good morning Rikard,
hope you can help me. I have the same problem on several projekts with Enfold. I can´t import any demo-data. Sometimes the theme imports some pages – but always without media-data. I tried everything yesterday to solve this problem. The provider told me that there ist 128MB of php (that is the providers maximum) – must be correct. I made a clean install for you with WordPress 4.9.4 and Enfold 4.2.3 – without any plugins.Thanks & kind regards,
Alex

Attached in private some error-code from the STRATO provider logfile. Read a lot this day about similar problems from other users. Hope you can help.
February 21, 2018 at 4:39 am #915203Hi,
Thank you for the update.
Is the site serve on a shared hosting? The importer is not compatible with some servers, specifically shared hostings. Please try to import the demo manually.
// http://graphitivity.com/enfold/docs/initial-theme-setup/#manual-demo-import–xml-file-import-
If it doesn’t work, import the demo on a local installation then transfer it to the live with this plugin.

IsmaelFebruary 21, 2018 at 10:15 am #915335Moin Ismael,
it is no shared hosting. Strato is one of EU´s biggest hosters and i did nearly 20 jobs with wordpress/enfold for customers. They all worked fine – but with the latest updates in WP an Enfold importing data does not work anymore on all accounts. I tried to install a downgrade version off WP an Enfold – but it doesn´t work at all.
Importing the XML-file does not work to. The screen freezes or i get the info “Can´t import media/there is no media”.
Perhaps you can send me am link to the themes (as i read about some of your partners did) data – so i can download them and put them up via FTP?Kind regards,
Alex

I’m sorry but I don’t think I understand you clearly. Have you tried using the WP Migrate DB plugin? Do you have a local server?

February 28, 2018 at 9:45 am #918886Dear JoHero,
i don´t know what to do anymore. Tried everything but nothing works. Would you please be so kind to solve my problems with the strato-server the manually way to. Find the login-data für WordPress an FTP above and my Strato-Login in the private area of this posting. I need to have the “Enfold 2017” theme to be installed. You can kill all the existing data. Is there a workaround, that i could do an my own, please let me know – because I have about 15 projekts created with Enfold hosting @ Strato.
Best regards,

March 1, 2018 at 10:48 am #919525Hi,
Please try to import the demo on a local installation (WAMP, MAMP) then transfer the database manually. This plugin should help..
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/
Or post the login details for the database, cpanel, ftp and wp. We’ll import the demo for you.
Best regards,
Ismael -
