Just installed enfold theme on our wordpress site and went to Demo Import > Click to Import. Then what do we do now to activate the demo theme that was imported? I looked everywhere and I’m guessing it is so obvious I’m overlooking it. Please advise. Also the documentation says doing this method is a one click install but that does not seem to be true. TIA.
September 12, 2018 at 6:38 am #1008724Hey nuvotax,
After importing the demo you shouldn’t have to do anything, the theme settings should be applied and reflect on your front end. If that is not working then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look. WIA.

Can you please ask you hosting provider to increase your php limit please?
Best regards,
BasilisSeptember 12, 2018 at 11:11 pm #1009116Hi, Is their a approximate limit I need to increase it to?
September 12, 2018 at 11:47 pm #1009120Hi, I just chatted with our hosting company and this was their reply.
“Unfortunately that is pretty vague as there are different kinds of PHP limits and depending on what they need the certain configuration raised to, it may be able to be done in the shared account or may require to upgrade the hosting to a VPS to allow for changing the limit.
Are you able to ask them what limit needs to be increased and to what value while I am on the chat with you?”
————Please let me know and I will try to relay that to them again.
September 13, 2018 at 8:01 am #1009258Hi,
Thanks for the update. This is what Basilis is referring to: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP, though I’m not sure if that is the problem since it looks like the demo was not imported. Which demo are you looking to import so that we can have a go on our end?
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 13, 2018 at 4:16 pm #1009473Hi Rikard, We attempted to import the Enfold 2017 and the medical template to try it out. We are not 100% sure that is the template we want but the 2017 would be a good start but we might want to change. If you can please give it a go for us if you can do it. I will also send this link info to our host provider to see if what we have is good enough.
September 13, 2018 at 4:33 pm #1009489Also I checked with our hosting company and they said we are set to the correct limit.
“I am on your php.ini and I do see that your account is already set to memory_limit = 256M”
September 13, 2018 at 4:42 pm #1009501Got this reply from our hosting company as well???
“Well there are 2 reasons why you are getting an error managing 3rd party theme. First, if the theme is not achieve the requirements(php memory allocation, upload limit, etc.). Second, if the theme is not compatible to the WordPress version that you have and other plugins inside of your website. As we checked, your server hit the requirements, however, the theme that you are trying to manage is not compatible to different theme that you have. So we do suggest to contact themeforest to get different theme version that will fit on your website.”
What do you think?

I would like to try this manual import if is works but can you tell me how do I access this area from my WP Dashboard? Or where is this?
The XML demo data can be found in wp-content > themes > enfold > includes > admin > demo_files
September 14, 2018 at 5:05 am #1009785Hi,
The XML files are located in the theme folder, if you don’t have it saved locally then you can always download it from your Themeforest account.
I’m not sure exactly what your hosting company is referring to, since you are running the latest version of both the theme and WordPress.
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 14, 2018 at 3:13 pm #1009899Hi Rikard, Ok, this is getting frustrating I found the xml files and uploaded into wordpress and got this message below after submitting. I check our domain and the site is not updated to looked like the enfold 2017 theme that I just uploaded. Can you guys figure out why the one click demo installer is not working? If not I think we just need a refund and will have to go look for another theme.
