Hi,
I tried to Import the Enfold 2017 but its not working. The WP says: Importing didn’t work! You might want to refresh the page and try again.
I’ve tried it and the same problem occurs! What should i do.

Unfortunately, i am configuring wordpress locally so it’s still not on the internet.
Yeah i want to install the demo Enfold 2017 in wordpress.
February 18, 2018 at 4:36 pm #913956Hi,
That is strange, perhaps you have a firewall enabled?
What are you using for a localhost, and what operating system is your computer?Best regards,
MikeFebruary 19, 2018 at 12:20 pm #914211Yes.. My Fiewall is enabled.. So i need to disabled it, right?
I am using Apache Wampserver. My operating System is Windows 10
February 19, 2018 at 12:39 pm #914218I turned my Firewall OFF and still not able to UPLOAD the theme that i want…. Oh my! What should i do? Not a tech guy here
February 19, 2018 at 2:36 pm #914259Hi,
As it seems your localhost is not getting permission to the internet, lets try the All-in-One WP Migration plugin.
Here is the All-in-One WP Migration files for the 2017 Demo in the Private Content area.
They are in a zip file that you will need to extract, one is the import, the other is the login info for after the import. Note that you will lose your current settings and content. Install this plugin: all-in-one-wp-migration
Read this All-in-One WP Migration tutorial
If you still have issues, I find UwAmp works very good on Windows 10, just run it as admin and grant it the privileges Windows asks about when starting.Best regards,
MikeFebruary 21, 2018 at 10:25 am #915341I want to clarify something:
Do i need to create an account to http://www.wordpress.com to try one-wp-migration?
February 21, 2018 at 11:23 am #915352February 24, 2018 at 6:31 pm #917196Hi,
I’ve installed this All-in-ONE WP and try to import the file you gave as you suggested. Oh my! I’ve been waiting for an hour to finish the installation but i believe i am stuck at the installation part. Whenever i tried to access the admin page by opening a tab, i get this error:
Fatal error: Declaration of avia_sc_comments_list::shortcode_handler() must be compatible with that of aviaShortcodeTemplate::shortcode_handler() in C:\wamp\www\AC9\wp-content\themes\enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-shortcodes\comments.php on line 14
I don;’t understand why it’s so hard to install the theme?
February 24, 2018 at 7:24 pm #917205Hi,
The error you are getting has been known to happen with PHP v5.2, The latest WordPress recommends PHP v7
How to configure PHP 7 in WAMP
As for why it was taking a long time, this could also be due to the old PHP version, or something else, there are a lot of settings in wamp & it would be very hard for use to advise.
Please try UwAmp, it is a portable localhost that you don’t need to install or config. See Private Content area.Best regards,
MikeMarch 4, 2018 at 6:48 am #920942Hi,
I can’t see the login page… I think there is no CSS everytime i browse the page
March 4, 2018 at 7:08 am #920947Hi,
It’s kind of irritating right now. This must be supposedly an easy setup but goodness me, it’s not!!!!
I’ve install xampp, PHP7 and latest versions of Apache and MySql but my god… The Error of uploading the demo is still there…
I followed every instructions you have send aside from the uWamp coz it’s not working on me and i have connection issues there because my Port 80 is currently used by IIS (ASP.NET Websites).
Could you please install the demo theme!!!!!! Or maybe some of your personnel can talk to me on phone.
March 4, 2018 at 3:35 pm #921067Hi,
@amazingcare7, sorry I was under the impression that you were trying to install Enfold on a localhost, with xampp and had connection issues. With this setup we can’t install it for you. Do you also have a IIS host running too? That would explain your issues, please see this video on such a setup: https://youtu.be/T8yglB59Xu0
But perhaps with these issues in mind, using a webhost would be better, that way we could login to help. If you don’t want the test site to be public, there are many “maintenance” plugins that can hide your site until you are ready.Best regards,
