    Hello,
    I am trying to download a demo (the default site), but for the first time, it is not working.
    Dummy data Import used to work fine on an IIS based (Windows) server. The one that is not working is a test site on a Unix server.
    Everything else works fine. Only dummy data import, doesn’t import anything and doesn’t give an error either.
    Enfold version is: 3.0.8
    Any help please?

    Hey!

    I ran an import test using the WordPress Theme Unit Test while having the default WP theme activated and it failed, so the issue is not related to theme but more to the server. I’d suggest:

    – Re-installing WordPress.
    – Contacting your hosting provider support.

    It is actually the first time for me to meet this on a Unix Server.
    I will contact hosting support team to see what security issues are hindering this process.

    Hi!

    I’d suggest making tests with the WP Theme Unit Test + having the default WP theme activated, if that works the Enfold import should too because it uses essentially the same method.

    Regarding server recommendations there are plenty of options, i’ll list a few of the most popular among our userbase:
    – Bluehost
    – Hostgator
    – Dreamhost
    – WP Engine
    – Media Temple

    Hi,
    thanks for your advice.

    It is becoming very confusing:
    WP default theme failed!
    Enfold 2.7.1 Import succeeded
    Enfold 3.0.8 failed to import.
    ………………………..
    I’ve had a tweak around. I installed Enfold V 2.7.1 and imported the dummy data. Then, updated Enfold to V 3.0.8 via FTP.
    Everything if fine so far.
