Hi,
have some trouble with a Startup Business Demo Import on a fresh installed WordPress site.
I read the hole forum but nothing helped.
I tryed to increasing the PHP memory, i tryed to increase the value of the max_execution_time, i reinstalled WP completly a serveral times, but nothing had solve the problem.i really need help with this problem

Thanks for that, I get the same problem on my end. Your server is returning a 500 internal server error response on the admin-ajax.php file. Could you try to import the file in private to see if that works please?

SebastianI have trouble to import demo themes, too. For a few days it was no problem, but now nearly no demotheme can be installed wirhour error massage. I wirte you an temporary admin login and login URL in the private content field.
P..S. is here a forum in German language and moderators?

now I have changed the role of the guestaccount to administrator and you could log in to the dashboad with same unsername and password. The frontend is in maintenance mode.Hi,
It looks like you tried to import the Med Demo but the images in the uploads folder are missing, attached in the Private Content area is a copy of the folder, please add the sub folders to yours via ftp.Best regards,
MikeI tried to import various demo themes. I also install the wordpress installation several times new and after I tried to install again. But everey time a error massage is shown and that I should refresh the site and tried it again. You can see it if you try to import Enfold 2017 for example. Where can I find the folder you have sent in private content?

Oh I see, this is not your thread, so you won’t see it. Which host are you using? There are a couple that are having issues such as Godaddy. If you open a new thread with your admin login, ftp login, and cpanel login (for your database) in the Private Content area, and state which demo you would like I can manually install it tonight.

MikeMy Host is Strato AG https://www.strato.de. A few days ago I could import demo themes without any problems. Maybe they have changed some settings?

I remember a few months ago that another was having issues with Strato, turned out they were blocking the IP to kriesi.at, where the demos are stored. I remember the customer contacted their support and had the block removed for their site. Please give this a try strato can read your error log and adjust their filter so the demos can be imported.

I have an answer from the host Strato. They have checked it and they wrote the problem is an error in /wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/auto-updates/class-pixelentity-theme-update.php. Have you an idea what cause the problems with this file?On vhs.praeco-media.com I have same problems. This site was checked by my host Strato. There are other error logs see in private content, too.

The class-pixelentity-theme-update.php is the related to the Envato/Themeforest API
Perhaps there some hickup with the Envato/Themeforest API or downtime over at Envato/Themeforest
Would you like us to try manually installing it?

Ok, my problem still exist and this drives me crazy!
But after a long phone call wiht my hoster, Strato AG, i return some new error messages. Would u pls take a look at this?

Now I have problems again with the demo import “Wedding”, there are error messages, the hoster is Strato again, I do not remember what to do.

My hoster is strato, too. And I have problems in different Packages all hosted by strato, but only since a few weeks. It seems that they have changed settings that it doesn’t work now.

I have just recived an update on the Strato webhost issues, up to now Strato has not been helpful, but this looks promising. Yet as to date we have not been able to confirm, but if you find this successful please let us know.A possible solution from the Strato team is that they believe that the PHP Boost option maybe the cause for the errors, and point to this help article to Disable the PHP Boost Look near the bottom of the page for “Enable PHP Boost” and do the opposite.

Ok Doax1988, I will try to manually install the Startup Business Demo, but first please change your PHP to version 7.0 form 7.2 and include ftp access and PHPmyAdmin access, you may need to give us Strato login access so we can get to PHPmyAdmin.
Please note, you will lose all content and settings, with this import

ok. We can try it this way. But i dont know what happend. A few Months ago, all run fine with strato and the theme… thats very sad. I mean, what if i have to create a new projekt or somethink. I cant always connect you to import a demo or manually set some content that wont load on site?I write ftp access, and strato log in into the private content.

Ok I have installed the Startup Business Demo, your new login is in the Private Content area.
Please check all settings such as site email, title, & language. I included the Enfold child theme for your convenience.

Your welcome, glad it’s working for you.
Unfortunately this seems to be a Strato issue, each time we get feedback from Strato they point to a different cause & solution after the fact, which doesn’t work for the next customer. Yet a majority of customers don’t get useful feedback from Strato on the issue.
The good news is that once the demo is installed I’ve not heard any complaints about Strato, it just seems their secure wordpress package doesn’t work well with the demos.Best regards,
