    Created a new topic, to clarify the confusion after steppin in on that discussion:

    Demo does not import images

    Seems quit a few people have the same problem like me lately.
    Latest tries:
    added to wp-config:
    define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’);

    Reinstalled theme (version 4.0.7, physical file creation worked before, but no mediathek-entry)
    backgraded because of troubles with borked burger menu (4.1.2 menu didnt work)

    Now even the copying of the files happens any more.
    tried to contact provider – no reply so far…

    Any further ideas!

    Hi,
    Talked to my provider, who pointed out that maybe their firewall is blocking.
    Asked me to ask you from where the demo-importer gets the files.
    demo.kriesi.at or something?
    please tell me ASAP, so I can talk to my provider again.

    Argh! Yes, that was it!
    The provider´s fricking firewall blocked it!!!!
    Maybe you want to note that somewhere in case the next World4You-customer is stepping into the same trap…
