On http://www.geigerassociates.com, (a one-page site) at the top of the section with the title “My commitment is to tell your…” a demo image started showing up today, without my having done anything to the site. It was an image of a guy with headphones on.
Here was the div and image:
<div class=”avia-image-container-inner”>
</div>
I set it to display:none just to get it out of there quickly.
Why did this image suddenly show up when it had never showed up before? How can I prevent this from happening in the future?
Hey bradhepp3,
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
Best regards,
Victoria
The login information is below
Hi,
Thanks for that, it’s very difficult to say what could have caused that, I haven’t heard of it happening to anyone else actually. Maybe you were getting cached results? You could try to clear the cache from your caching plugin to see if that helps.
Best regards,
Rikard
I don’t see how it could be cached results. The site had been up and operational for months. And then SUDDENLY that demo image popped in there, viewing it from any number of browsers, including browsers that had never been to the site.
Did you log into the site? Do you still need the credentials?
I did not notice an email reply from you on June 1. What email address should I be looking for you to use when you reply?
