Hi,
I have configured a 2 banner slider for the homepage of our site. Each banner consists of a background image plus a few layers of text and images. Once I finished the Slider I set it to show on the homepage. All is fine and good until now.
Because my site is in two languages (Catalan and Spanish), I wanted to duplicate this slider I had just made so I could change the text layers to the second language (Spanish) and then display this new slider on the homepage in Spanish.
But, when I went to duplicate the Slider pressing the small icon to the left (there are two icons, the duplicate slider icon and the bin), I had such bad luck that I pressed on the bin icon by mistake. Apparently, there is no way from the slider settings to restore the deleted slider.
My question is: is there anyway I can restore this slider so I don’t have to do all the work again?
What is curious is that, although I deleted the slider, it still shows on the homepage. I gues if I went to the homepage settings and I choose to display another slider and saved the changes then I could not display it again as it would not be in the dropdown list anymore, but if I don’t make any changes to the homepage it still shows the slider although it doesn’t exist anymore.
This is our homepage http://www.cuinestramuntana.com
Thanks

There is little we can do from our end in this case. However, LayerSlider data is stored in the wp_layerslider table, so you could try asking your hosting support if they have a database image you could restore.

Thanks for your suggestion. I didn’t even have to ask the hosting provider, I was ably to acces the database my self through the DirectAdmin panel provided in my hosting account. I then exported the slider that I had deleted (it was still there!!) and imported it back through the WordPress dashboard.
Thank you very much
Regards
