    I for a few days I wanted to do your enfold update. But it was running over hours and never ended.

    Since that time I saw a message in the backend that I have to click update again because it isn’t finished.

    Today I clicked on update and I can’t reach my website anymore :-(
    I only see a white page! What was happening and what can I do?

    What can I do to get on my webpage. Is it possible to deactivate the enfold theme over ftp and then reinstall the theme?

    Hi sunshineh!

    Please change the name of Plugins folder that is inside wp-content folder via FTP. Then try re-updating the theme via FTP http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Cheers!

    Hi,
    I tried the updating via ftp, but now my backend is also only a white page – same as my webpage.

    So I how can I solve this situation.
    I have also tried to replace my wordpress-files per ftp.

    Hey!

    Please try to increase the allocated memory to 128M – http://dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/

    Hey!

    Please activate the debug mode and insert this code into the wp-config.php file:

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);

    It should force WP to print an error message (instead of showing a white screen) and hopefully the error message helps us to identify the problem.

    Best regards,
    Peter
