Hi! I was wondering if there is a way to have a default layout/template for blog posts. As it is now, each time I write a new blog post I have to go through the layout styles to designate which sidebar I want to show up, if I want breadcrumbs to show, etc etc. Is there a way to just automate this so whenever I hit “New Post” the correct layout is already applied, with the right sidebar widgets and breadcrumb settings?

    Hey ANKirschner!

Thank you for using the theme!

Unfortunately, there is no option to automate the sidebar and header settings for blog posts only. You can add the widgets designated for Blog Posts on Appearance > Widgets > Sidebar Blog widget area. This widget area will only show for blog overview page and the posts.

    Regards,

Hey ANKirschner I just ran across your question and I think you might find the “Duplicate Post” plug-in to be of use. You should then be able to “clone” your blog posts which will duplicate the blog post and then you can just go in and change the text and publish it. It should keep all of your settings the same.
