    Hi,
    Love the theme!

    I’m using the module “Blog Post – Grid Layout” to show my blog posts.
    My blog posts are created with the Avia Layout Builder.

    The problem is that the “Blog Post – Grid Layout” doesn’t show the excerpt – when not defined.
    Is it possible to automatic generate an excerpt, when not defined – as when using the default WordPress setup.

    I’ve seen a couple of other threads about the subject, but none of them works.
    Help is very much appreciated.!

    Hey!

    Please edit your post and click “Screen options” on the top right corner and check “Excerpt” and then scroll below your post and add your excerpt into “excerpt” field

    Yes I’m aware of this.
    But the problem is when the excerpt field is left empty
    – then posts created with the Avia Layout Builder won’t generate an excerpt automatically – like default post do (posts created with the WordPress editor).

    So my question again – is it possible to get excerpts on posts – created with the ALB – automatically generated, when there is nothing written in the excerpt field on a given post?

    Hi,

    Currently that is not possible no, you will have to add it manually or save the post while the default editor is active.
