    Hello,
    Sorry if you have answered this in the many posts on featured images, but I can’t find the answer.

    With Enfold 4.5.4, is it possible to use the Default Editor and not have the featured image appear at the top of the blog post? Or do we have to switch to Advanced Layout Editor? If we have to switch to ALE, how do we establish the Featured Image manually, and create the title/author/date so that it appears exactly as it did in my previous posts?

    Thanks!

    Hey Leslie,

    Yes, it is possible to switch to the Default editor, just now it’s called the Classic editor and it works the same as before. Please try using it.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Victoria,

    Thanks for your quick reply! Are you saying that, when using the Default Editor, it is not possible to get rid of the featured image at the top of the blog post? Ideally, I would like to use the Default Editor, as the title/name/date all appear correctly, and the audio player has a nicer look to it. You mentioned the Classic editor, but the only options at the top right of the widow toggle between Default Editor and Advanced Layout Editor.

    Best,
    Leslie

    Hi Leslie,

    Well, if you don’t want the image to display you can always hide it. Oh, if you still see the Default editor, then that’s the one. Do you need any help with css?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Victoria,

    I found this CSS and it works great:

    .post-entry .big-preview{ display: none !important; }

    Thanks for your help understanding the new system.
