    Hi,
    I just updated Enfold and since then I cannot insert copy in the editor in posts. The editor seems to be locked and the line where to choose bold etc. has disappeared. The problem is only in chrome and not in internet explorer but I need it to work in chrome, too.
    I can of course not be sure that it is the theme update that causes the problem, it could be other things, too!

    Please try disabling all active plugins to see if this issue resolves.

    Hi,
    Disabling plugins one by one did not solve the problem.

    Furthermore the situation has become more complicated and serious now. After the theme update all of my three sites using Enfold are in bad shape, either extremely slow or most of the time not even loading (504 error) – and all they have in common is the Enfold update.

    Both my developer and the host has investigated the problems and cannot find any other explanation than the theme update.
    One of the sites not working was not using php 7 but the others did so this is not the explanation, unfortunately.

    I would much appreciate if you could help me further regarding why I see this problems after the theme updates on the 3 sites.

    Hi dfds,

    Can you please attach a few screenshots of the issue with the editor? I was able to turn on the Advanced Layout Builder and add elements in it, on the page in your original post. Did not get the 504 error.
