    Hello,

    I have used your theme in many projects and have never seen a date on the website in the Google Snippets.
    Now this happens in a project of mine.

    Where’s the problem.
    At YOAST I set everything to “Don’t show the date”.

    Hey Stefan,

    Thanks for the screenshots, could you give us a link and access to your site as well so we can have something to work with please? The theme doesn’t have any functionality which would actively add that, so it might be a good idea if you reached out to Yoast support as well.

    Hi Stefan,

    Thanks for that. I’m not sure how Google gathers that information to be honest with you, I think Yoast support would be better equipped to help you out with this problem.

    Hi,

    I think the problem is with the post on the homepage.
    The date in Google is generated in the snippets from this contribution.
    <div class=’slide-meta’><time class=’slide-meta-time updated’ itemprop=”datePublished” datetime=”2020-07-03T17:18:17+00:00″ >3. Juli 2020</time>

    The entries have already been entered in the Quick css. Nevertheless, the date is read out and displayed in the source text of the page!

    time.slide-meta-time.updated{
    display:none!important;
    }
    .slide-meta-time.updated{
    display:none!important;
    }

    Hi,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    The changes in the search results may take a while to reflect — it sometimes takes weeks or months. But you may ask Google to recrawl the site and have them index it again. And also make sure that there are no date entries from a plugin or custom scripts.
