    Hello –

I just updated my website to the new version of WP. After this happened I got 7 error messages on my dashboard:

Notice: add_submenu_page was called incorrectly. The seventh parameter passed to add_submenu_page() should be an integer representing menu position. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 5.3.0.) in /home/advantagepersona/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4903

Reinstalled the theme and deactivated all plugins an I’m still receiving these messages. This is only on the backend. Front end looks fine. Do you know what this means and how I can fix it? I’m not able to access my media library due to this.

    Hi Kelly,

It looks like you have debug mode active on your installation, please see private. Read more on how to turn it off here: https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/. It won’t remove the error message but it won’t be visible on the backend after you turn it off. If you want to know where the messages are coming from then please try to disable all plugins or switch themes to one of the default WordPress themes to see if that makes any difference.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
