    Hi,

Thanks for that. I cleared the cache from your caching plugin, and that seems to have helped. Please review your site.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

It might be an issue with the Enfold Performance > File Compression settings. We disabled the compression settings temporarily. Let us know if the issue persists.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Goodmoring Ismael,

No luck either by disabling the compression settings.
    The problem still occurs.

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I can’t see any problems on my end using a regular or private browser window, could you give us a sure way of reproducing the results you are seeing on your end please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

This moring the error occured again, but i had to make an update on a page on the site.
And when I update a page, or just save the settings in the enfold menu, everything on the site is back as normal.
As soon as the error is back, i’ll give you a sign!

    Thanks!

    Hi,
Thank you for the link to your site, please note the PHP error message in your dashboard, your PHP version is out of date, this should be updated on your server, if you don’t know how to do this plase ask your webhost to help. The WordPress PHP minimum is v7.4 but v8 is also a good choice.

    Hi,
Glad to hear, I see that you have a Classic Editor plugin and you have the Classic Editor set in the theme at Enfold Theme Options ▸ Select Your Editor ▸ Use WP Classic Editor, I recommend removing the plugin as it is not needed.
Perhaps you could try disabling your caching plugin and enable the Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ JS & CSS file merging and compression options for a few a week and see if your error occurs again, if not then try switching them back for a week and see if the error occurs then. It may be a good way to see if there is a setting in your caching plugin is the cause of if it is something else. Do you have any server side caching enabled also?

*update* I just noticed your Quick CSS custom css, you have added HTML comments to the css, it is probably the issue:
    Enfold_Support_4073.jpeg
these are wrong and could cause errors, please change all of these to css comments like this:
    Enfold_Support_4075.jpeg

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Good Morning Mike,

I fixed all the issues you’ve mentioned.
Unfortunately the website still loses his styling.
I really don’t know what is wrong, but everytime i save or update a page, the website is back to normal.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

    Hi,
I believe that it may be related to the HTML comments in your Quick CSS, now that you have fixed them please make use you didn’t make this error elsewhere like in a css plugin or in the WordPress ▸ Customize ▸ Additional CSS, then you will need to ensure that your caching plugin is cleared very good, so try clearing it a few times.
Then I recommend disabling your caching plugin for a few days and see if you see the issue again.
You are not using a CDN or server caching are you? If so disability these also.
When the error occurs is it after you do something or is it just random?
Is it in a specific browser and to you test in incognito mode when you see the error, can to test in multiple browsers when you see the error?

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hello,

Unfortunately the website still loses his CSS-styling.
But, i’ve noticed that on the FTP-server, where the site is hosted, some files are updated without my knowing.
    It is in this folder:
    httpdocs/wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia
and the files that are updated are:

    • enfold.css
    • avia-gutenberg-dynamic-enfold.css
    • index.php
    • folder -> avia_posts_css

Maybe this is the cause of the site losing his CSS styling?

    Hi,
Thank you for your patience, I logged into your site a saw that your caching plugin is disabled and that your css comments have beed corrected. I found that your style was not correct and the theme “Save All Changes” button in the theme settings was blue indicating that a change was made to the theme settings and had not been saved, I saved the setting and your style was corrected when I check on Windows in Chrome, Firefox, & Edge.
I will check again tomorrow, in the meanwhile are you using server caching? I also noticed that you have Disable jQuery Migrate, many plugins & scripts use jQuery Migrate did you intend to disable this?

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hello Mike,

    Thank you for your help.
The reason why i disabled jQuery was just a test if this could be a solution for the problem.
Normally i’m not using server caching.

    best regards,
    Paul

    Hi,
I see, jQuery Migrate is important so I enabled it again. Today I see your style was not correct, but saving the theme settings again solved the issue.
I recommend disabling all of your plugins and them save your theme settings and then I will check again tomorrow and see if the issue occurs again.
I did not disable any plugins, so I ask that you will do this.
I have not seen this issue anywhere else so disabling your plugins is a good place to start.
What webhost are you using, is it a “Managed WordPress” plan?

    Best regards,
    Mike
