    I am trying to customize the main menu in the Medical Demo by deleting and adding and reordering a page. When I go to publish or save I get the error “Looks like something’s gone wrong. Wait a couple seconds, and then try again.” I am unsure how to see a log or how to fix this.

    Hey aluminumonkey,

    Did you try clearing your browser cache and reloading the page? You could also try a different browser. If that doesn’t work then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.

    I was able to add the “Departments” page in the main menu. Please try it on another computer or browser.

    I still cannot move any of the menu items around. Is there a file I can change directly to make the moves I need instead of using the theme customizing screen?

    Hi,

    I can move the menu items around without encountering any errors. What browser are you using? Unfortunately, you can’t control the menu items by editing a file manually.

    I am using chrome and firefox on 2 different Windows 10 computers. I have tried dragging the menu item to where I want it and clicking “Publish” but that error always pops up. It is the same result if I use the “Reorder” option. I will try making a different admin user to see if that makes a difference.

    Just tried. It made no difference.

    Alright. How do you want to sort the menu items? We’ll do it on our side for now. Please test it on another OS or computer because we can’t reproduce the issue.

    This is really strange indeed. I tried it on another domain I have with a fresh install of WordPress 4.9.1 and the theme and it did the same thing. I will spin up a VM and see if that makes a difference.

    Hi aluminumonkey,

    I was able to drag and reorder the menu in Chrome on a Mac. Have you tried other browsers?
