    Sorry for the newbie question. I would like to be able to display more than the default 5 tag words on my pages using the Tag widget. Also, can I show different tag words on some pages?

    For the tag number question please see this topic.

    Regarding the second issue, you could create a Custom Widget Area (Appearance), populate it with the desired Widgets and then set it to show in the pages you want it (Layout, while editing the page).
