Hi,
Is there a part that could be changed in the query-code, so that only posts/pages with a specific tag(s) appear in the “You might also like”-section? If yes, could you tell me what I should (am allowed to) change as I am not really familiar with query-code.
Thanks in advance,
Nick
Hey nickdeclercq!
You are going to need to hire a freelance developer for that kind of customization as it is beyond the scope of support we can provide. You can also request quote here.
File you/they should edit is related-posts.php file inside wp-content\themes\enfold\includes folder.
Best regards,
Yigit
Hi Yigit,
There is no one-line that I could add/replace to have only posts with 1 unique tag (ex. blog or widget) show up, instead of the as good as every post & page that shows up now? Hope that this becomes an option in the near future, because it is a great idea but unfortunately it doesn’t work that well.
Sincerely,
Nick
Hey!
Feel free to request such feature here https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-feature-requests/
If other users are also interested in such feature we may at least add it as PHP Snippets to new Enfold documentation
Best regards,
Yigit
Hi,
Ok, very unfortunate. Such a shame that I have to disable something that could be so great.
Sincerely,
Nick
Hi Yigit,
I temporary fixed it with the query code from a moderator in a different post: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/exclude-posts-with-certain-tag-from-related-posts/
It is not perfect for my needs but will do the job for now.
Sincerely,
Nick
