    Hello!
So I have a video and a slider on the homepage of the website tnvirtualassistant.com.
They are perfect for smartphone (and that’s good as most of my traffic comes from there), but they are way too big when on desktop.
If I just make them smaller the margins would not be aligned anymore with the elements below, but I should really make them smaller somehow.
My idea is to maybe add some padding but show a frame/border of another color to fill the gap. How do I do that?
Do you have any better idea?
    Thanks
    Nicole

    Hey NicoleVA,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

Have you tried hiding them on desktop view? Just edit the element, go to the Advanced panel, then toggle the Responsive Settings > Element Visibility options. By doing this, you can hide the element on certain screen sizes or display another element instead.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hello! Thanks for your reply.
No I actually want to keep it on desktop too. I also need it for SEO reasons. I just need to make it smaller (without changing the page elements alignment). Is there a way?
    Thanks again

    Hi,

I checked your website but video and slider width is the same as the content width. I attached a screenshot below. Have you figured it out already?

Also, it seems like you are minifying JS files with a plugin and in Enfold theme options > Performance. Please disable one of them as it is causing JS issues :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hi,

    Thank you for the clarification.

Try to add three 1/3 columns in a single row, move the video inside the second column, then edit the Advanced > Responsive Settings > Element Visibility of the first and third columns. You can set them to only display on desktop and hidden on mobile view. This should limit the width of the video on desktop view and display it as is on smaller screens.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
