Is it possible to customize a blog category page?

Ideally I would like to add a different full size color section image above every category archive like I have on all my main pages…

    Hi mcraig77!

If you navigate to Dashboard > Posts > Categories you can set a “Description” for each category which will display above the archives. You can add shortcodes to this area as well.

    Cheers!

I have the same issue as mcraig77.

Setting a “Description” for each category works with html code but it doesn’t seem to be the case with shortcodes.

In an ideal world, I’d like my categories pages to be similar to the page I created (see private content) or to this (with a fullscreen image at the top instead): http://cedarwp.ecko.me/category/system-administration/

    Any clue?

    Hey!

Shortcodes should work also. Some of our Enfold shortcodes such as color sections will not work because they were not meant to be used there.

If your trying to get a color section to display in the archives then you would probably have to use a bunch of CSS fixes.

    Cheers!
