Hi !
I am a therapist and I have just divided my site into two distinct parts: one for “face-to-face sessions”, and the other for “distance sessions”.So there are menu tabs common to both parts (example: the testimonials page and the contact page), and specific tabs for each part that I manage with “conditional menus”.
My problem: if a person clicks on a common tab when he comes from the “remote sessions” part, he sees a menu including all the tabs of both parts.
I would like that if this person clicks on a common tab (coming from the remote part) he keeps the menu of the remote part only. Is this possible?
Thank you!

Thanks for contacting us!
I think you could do it by adding common tabs separately to each part but I am not sure I understood it clearly. Could you please post a screenshot and show the changes you would like to make? You can upload your screenshots on imgur.com and post the links here.
Best regards,

I don’t think a screenshot can help you understand better… Let me explain by giving you a concrete example:
Menu 1 : face to face
Menu tabs : office address, schedules, office rates, testimonials,Menu 2 : remote
Menu tabs : explanation of the online sessions, prices for online sessions, testimonials,The “testimonial” page is common to both menus.
What I want to do :
-If the person was on menu 1 and clicks on “testimonials”, I want him/her to keep menu 1 without seeing the tabs of menu 2. -If the person was on menu 2 when he/she clicked on “testimonials”, I want him/her to continue to see menu 2, without seeing the tabs of menu 1 (I don’t want him/her to see the tabs “practice address” and “practice rates”)Is this clearer? Thank you!
November 4, 2021 at 2:56 pm #1327798Hi,
Thanks for the explanation.
That would be possible by displaying 2 different menus depending on what page you are on. Please use a plugin such as this one – https://wordpress.org/plugins/conditional-menus/ to display different menu per page. If you would like to use custom code instead, you can find an example here – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/menu/#different-menu-for-different-pages

As I explained in my first message, I already use “conditional menus” to customize the tabs that appear on each page of my site. With this plugin I managed to divide my site in two.My concern is only about the common pages and conditional menu doesn’t allow to do what I explained above. On the contrary, the common pages end up with ALL the menu tabs of both parts…
November 4, 2021 at 5:18 pm #1327828Hi,
Sorry about that.
In that case we go back to my first suggestion I am afraid.
Instead of having a common “testimonials” page, having separate “Face to face testimonials” and “remote testimonials” pages would be the solution. It is not possible to target which page you are navigating from to use it as a condition.Best regards,
