Customizing tabs

I am using your tabs to help organize a member directory listing and have some issues I’m trying to resolve. I’ve searched your forum and have not found answers to the following questions.

1. I am using the tabs so that they appear at the top. Is there a way for me to only show a limited number of tabs with the ability to show a “more option” dropdown of additional tab categories so that tabs don’t wrap to a second line? I’d like a clean single row of tabs across the top of my page without it wrapping to multiple lines.

2. How can I customize the tab url? Currently, when you click on one of my tabs, the url shown is http://franklintexas.org/member-business-directory/#tab-id-1. I’d like to be able to customize the /#tab-id-1 to be whatever my tab name is (i.e. churches, real estate, etc.).

3. I’ve currently installed tabs on my member business directory page. When I use the theme Search to look up a business, the Search results return just the page http://franklintexas.org/member-business-directory, which means a site user would then have to navigate to the appropriate tab to find the business they’re looking for. What I’d like to happen is that the Search results return the specific tab where that business listing can be found (i.e. http://franklintexas.org/member-business-directory/#tab-id-1 where /#tab-id-1 is the tab name like I mentioned in number 2 above.
