Custom Widget – PHP code

Hi,

Where do I find the details of the name structure of a custom widget that I’ve created?

I want to use it in the php template, but I don’t know how to add it. I’ve got: <?php the_widget( $widget ); ?> I just don’t know what to replace”$widget” with for a custom widget.
