Today I encountered an issue I never came across in two years of using Enfold. A customer tried to disable the sidebar display on a page but still the global setting for pages applied (right sidebar visible). The page contains the following elements in this order: av_textblock, av_productgrid, av_textblock.

After some testing and comparing other customers installations (where individual settings for sidebars on pages work like a charm) I realized those pages all had a color section in it.

So i put a color section into the site subject to the sidebar issue and moved three elements into the color section. Guess what … the individual sidebar setting started to work.

Now the question: Do custom sidebar pages only work if the page contains a color section or is it a bug?

Update: It was late yesterday. The color section did not solve the issue it just moved the siderbar below the content. So there is definitely a bug.

Solved: I am not sure why but a couple of pages got interpreted as “shop” page. After deleting the “shop” page (the one assigned in woocommerce und products as the main shop page) and recreating/reassigning it everything works as expected.
