Hi, guys. Cheers from Brazil.
I’m using Enfold 4.7.2 and there is something bothering me about the Custom Separator.
I can’t really understand how it works.I have it set as follows:
Position: Center
Border: Thinand what I can’t figure out is about the width:
Looks like the greater the percentage is, not only the wider it gets, but the icon moves towards the right end.Make a try yourself.
Set it to 20% (you will get a short separator with centralized icon).
then around 45% (you will have a wider separator with centralized icon).
and then 80% (you will have a very wide (almost full width) separator with the icon moving towards the right end (about 80% of the full width). You’ll have different element widths and different icon positions.
Looks like when you set low percentage values, enfold takes it to the element total width (borders + icon) and when you set high percentage values, enfold set the border to “almost full” width and the icon is placed to the percentage you determined.
How does it really work?
Thank you for attention.

Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
Best regards,

I’m not trying to get anything done.
I’m trying to understand how the custom separator works.
Did you try the example I wrote?
February 13, 2020 at 4:54 am #1184044Hi,
Thank you for the clarification.
It is indeed a bug. The separator — when the icon is enabled — is composed of two lines and the full width value is applied on both of these lines instead of just the half of it. So if the width is set to 80%, each line should have a width of only 40%. We’ll report the issue to our channel.
