    When I turn on the ALB on a CPT single.php is ignored as well as single-cpt.php.

    For example, if the WordPress default post editor is on and you comment out get_header() from single.php the page breaks as it should; however, if you turn on ALB the header works fine which would mean that single.php is not being used or loop.index.php.

    Where is the condition that ignores single.php when ALB is on and the template?

    Hey hookedonweb,

    That is true, because of the way ALB is loading the elements, it does use it it own way of showing results.
    I will ask our developers more info about that and will come back to the topic.
