I’m in the process of updating (finally) our website from an old, unsupported theme to Enfold. We have lots of posts that are built without the benefit of handy layout tools. They are built using ultra classic WordPress approaches to building posts. Here’s my question.
I’m designing the main pages of the site to filter in posts by category, which is working fine. Is there a way to create a separate treatment for the main content of posts without going back into each of one of our posts? Our new design makes readability difficult over the background.
Check out the older live site here: http://www.therestlesstraveler.com/
Here’s the developing site: http://trt.staging.wpengine.com/ (hosted on WPengine)
Here’s an example of a post where you can see the readability issue: http://trt.staging.wpengine.com/happy-holidays-the-walti-extreme-edition/
Any assistance here would be most appreciated. Thank you!
Hey dnweil,
Except of adding a white background ( with maybe some transparency ) what else do you think might be working for good?
Best regards,
Basilis
Hello Basilis,
Thank you for checking in with me on this. I’d like to have the blog posts look like our most recent posting here:
https://equusinspired.com/southwestern-exposure/
I’m wondering if we can achieve this without touching every individual page.
Rather than what we see on the older posts in this example:
And also this example:

Thank you!

Hi,
Yes it can be achieved with CSS code, but this would be outside of our support scope.
You can always consider hire someone to do this for you
