Hi I have two little questions. I updated a phrase in my functions.php on http://www.erfahre.com to swap the vk icon with a tripadvisor icon and now I have these questions:
1) can i change the alternative text from “vk” to “tripadvisor”?
2) can i save the custom phrase in the functions.php that an update of the theme doesnt reset it. Is the only option a child theme?

BasilisIt’s not that big of a deal, I just changed the Icon from the vk to an fontello tripadvisor icon:
‘vk’ => array( ‘font’ =>’fontello’, ‘icon’ => ‘ue84c’),

If you would like to make changes update safe, please use a child theme – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/ and apply changes in functions.php file of your child theme
