Custom CSS that works on one site won't on another

Turns out it only works if you use a menu created under appearance. THIS IS FIXED.

I have two Enfold installations.
On one site, I used the following CSS code to make the font in the header menu larger:

.avia-menu-text{
font-size:18px!important;
}

I tried the exact same code on the second installation and it has no effect. Any ideas how to change the menu font on the second install?
