When trying to assign a custom CSS to a textblock, the Tab “Developers” is empty. No input-fields available.
The settings to show these ( Builder Options For Developers in the child theme) are all set to “Show and allow to edit classes”.
In another previous project of ours this worked fine but in this new website the tab “Developer” remains empty.
How can we assign a custom CSS to a Textblock?

    Hey schoenj,

Sorry for the problem, please try this fix: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/text-block-developer-tab-empty/#post-1147949. This will be fixed in the next release of the theme.

    Best regards,

    Hi Rikard,
Unfortunately the suggested fix has had no effect. Problem still remains the same.
    Can you suggest something else?

    Hi,

Please post WordPress and FTP login details in private so that we can have a closer look. Also, is it ok if we try to implement this fix for you? Do you have backups of the site?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

Thanks for that, the FTP details are working but the WordPress ones are not. It looks like it formats your password in a strange way. Could you use this plugin instead in order to generate a login token please? https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

    Best regards,

Sorry RIkard, apperrantly something went wrong with copying the password (missing one kind of character).
This should be the right one now:

    Hi,

Thanks for the update, but that is now working either. Could you create a new user or try the plugin out please?

    Hi,

Yes you can send it via email, but maybe it would be easier if you tried the plugin out first? Simply install that then generate a login token for us, and post it here in the thread. https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

    Hi,

Thanks for that, I replaced the file but I can’t see any changes on my end either. The developer tab is still blank. I’m not sure if your security plugin might be involved here, I’m seeing this message:

iThemes Security noticed file changes in your WordPress site. Please review the logs to make sure your system has not been compromised.

Does it work if you disable that?

    Best regards,
    Rikard
