Hi guys,
I LOVE the theme, but I ran into a problem and can’t seem to find the answer in the forum.
Although I love the ALB, I really want to show my recent posts, tags, etc. underneath my post as well as the category under the heading, which is why I am using the normal editor instead of the ALB. I know you say that the ALB gives us all the freedom to design the page we want it to be, but I think that’s not the case if we cannot add recent posts, all the meta info or the category underneath the heading. Will there be an option in the near future, so we can actually use the ALB without losing the meta & recent posts? This is the only thing why I wouldn’t recommend this theme to others. I keep reading the changelog after every update, hoping to see some changes regarding this issue.Okay, since I can’t use the ALB, I have some problems with my mobile version. I want to show my sidebar via the custom widget tool after my post, but only on mobile. Since I couldn’t change the screen options for the widget tool, I put it into a column, gave it a custom CSS class and added some code to my Quick CSS to only show the widget on mobile. This works when writing a post in ALB, however, I can’t find a way to add my custom CSS ID to the column when using the regular editor.
Is there another way to only show the widget area only on mobile when NOT using the ALB? Is there a way to add the custom CSS class to this code?

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
All widgets have ids and so you can use them and not use your custom classes. Also, even when you use the default editor you can use most of the Advanced Layout Builder shortcodes using the magic wand icon.

April 13, 2018 at 12:09 am #941174Hi! Thanks for your reply. I know that I can use most shortcodes in the default editor, but I can’t use all the functions (like giving my column a CSS class.
Will it be possible to show related posts and meta data when using ALB in the future? It’s so much easier to work with the ALB (especially if you want to make changes later) but I really need the meta data and recent posts. Thanks!

April 13, 2018 at 12:19 am #941176Oh wow, I’m stupid. Just found out that when I activate sidebar on mobile, that it actually works the way I want it to… Sorry for wasting your time! Can’t believe how stupid I am…
But please let me know whether or not you are going to change the meta-data problem when using ALB. ;) After that you can go ahead and close this ticket! Thank you, guys!!April 13, 2018 at 3:30 pm #941550Hi CaliBee,
Glad you got it working for you! :)
I am not aware of those changes being made to the Advanced Layout Builder built pages.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
