Hey Kriesi-Team,
for my blog i want to use the Layout like the rest of the webseite and not the standard-version. So i tried to change the blog layout in a custom site with your documentation and so far it worked out.
I wrote a post and set it online and i miss the author, the date and at the bottom the possibility to leave a comment. How do i get this on the custom page?
PRoblem already fixed by a shortcode! At least i wrote two blogposts in two different layouts – one with the standard editor, here i have author and date, and the other one using the advanced layout-editor author and date are missing.
I already tried the option to add Shortcodes in the functions and css-sheets like its written in your documentation, but it does not work.
Also i want to have related Posts beneath the text, there is only the possibility, to activate the post-navigation, which is settled right and left at the window, thats to small. Is there a possibility to set a layout-element and sort by categries or something?
Heres the blogsite with both posts (Funfacts is the normal editor / Sichtbarkeit im Business is the post written in the advanced layout editor.)
Ah, and on the blog site, there is no short description for the text in the post who was written in the advanced layout editor – why? Or how can i change that?
I remember, that when i change some options in the blog-meta-elemtents, that it will not change the former posts but only the new ones. So for me it is important, to have all the right options set, bevor starting to write new posts.
And is there any possibility, i can change the Blog layout itself like this:
https://marketing-zauber.de/blog
Picture on the left side, header, text, and read-link on the right side? I only can choose between the raster/single-author,… combination in the blog-post-layout element? Or is there a possibility to style it on my own?
Can you help me, please?
Thanks a lot!January 5, 2023 at 7:55 pm #1377729Hey agentur2c,
You have to add all content yourself when creating posts using the Layout Builder. You can use the Post Metadata element for the content that you want to add.

RikardJanuary 13, 2023 at 1:34 pm #1378581Sorry Rikard for my late reply – i got one further question:
If i use the standard-editor, the blog site shows a teaser text plus picture plus the read-more-link. if i use the advanced layout editor, the teasertext is missing. how can i fix that?
Actually i got a workaround and copy some text in the standard-editor and switch back to advance an save, then it works, but the second i open the post in the backend again, the teaser text gets lost.Do you have a solution for this?
Thanks!January 13, 2023 at 9:53 pm #1378644Hi,
You can add that text in the Excerpt field. If you are using the Classic Editor then you can activate it under Screen Options in the top right hand corner when editing a post. If you are using the Block Editor, then it’s available in the sidebar.
