Hi.
Recently, I have created a blog page for my website. You can check the URL in the Private Content attached to this message.
The problem? I can’t set H1 or H2 headers to this page, and I need it. What I’ve done was:
– In WordPress > Settings > Reading, I set a page as the blog.
– In Enfold Options, I set the same page as the blog. In Blog Structure (under Layout Builder), I set the Blog Style to default.
– Finally, tried to edit the page to add an h1 and h2, but the Avia Builder is always loading and didn’t let me to drag any element. Tried to change to the standard editor, but it didn’t work too. I couldn’t add an h1 or h2 to this page. Then, looking in this forum, I changed the Blog Style to the last option, “Modern Business”. Entered the page and, again, couldn’t edit it with Avia Builder or the standard editor.
What can I do? I can’t use the “Blog post element” because it causes a canonical problem with the pagination of the blog.
Lots of thanks.

If you only set the blog page then you won’t be able to design it yourself, you would need to use the Blog Posts element in order to create your own design. Can we see the problem you are getting when using that element somewhere?

RikardOctober 25, 2019 at 12:48 pm #1151185Hi Rikard.
Thanks for your answer. The main problem is about SEO. With the Blog Posts element, the pagination has a canonical tag to the page that contains the blog posts element, instead to the pagination itself. It can create crawling difficulties, so I need a “pure” blog page. And, like you said, I can’t design this page. Anyway, it’s not critical :).
I wanted to add a h1 and h2 to the blog main page because I changed the post title from h2 to h3 via functions.php (because I have some posts in the homepage and I think they sholud be h3 and not h2).
You can check the private content.
Thanks for your wonderfull support.
October 26, 2019 at 4:54 am #1151316Hi,
Thanks for the update. I haven’t heard of pagination being bad for SEO before, but I’m no expert on the subject either. What if you select to disable pagination in the element options then?
Best regards,

March 11, 2020 at 11:49 am #1192205Hi Frappe_Daphne,
You need to build a custom blog page, add the title there with the special heading element or text block, add blog posts element and assign that page to be your blog page.

VictoriaMarch 17, 2020 at 4:01 pm #1193831Hi Victoria, that was a good idea, I have been able to put a title on my page… BUT, when you look this page on the web there is no title and in the source code neither…
However, I have the possibility now to put text in my page. Which doen’t appear for the moment… but it is an improvement… I might be near from the goal ;-)
