Only one element does that and it does so by design. You’re welcome to delete it from your shortcodes folder. Will be the elegant title element.
July 29, 2019 at 7:07 pm #1122857okay, thanks, it is possible to use the (local) ENFOLD fonts?
Due to the new EuGH decree from today I absolutely need to disable every connection to another server than my own.July 31, 2019 at 2:23 am #1123378I haven’t seen a way to link directly into the stock fonts, but I’ll see what I can come up with.
July 31, 2019 at 2:32 am #1123379COMING SOON
The next update will have some major fixes to some older elements. A heads up though, you may need to set them back up as the code updates are significant. So be sure to do a full check of any websites you update these elements on.
Now, a little preview of an element that will have multiple forms. Here is a preview of the new “Movie Card”. Other iterations will include a product card, app card, etc….all with exclusive features to each of them. All will have to layout modes you can lock them into: banner and portrait. The banner layout is responsive and at a point will have the same look as the portrait layout.
July 31, 2019 at 11:49 am #1123525August 3, 2019 at 8:31 pm #1124420Here’s an updated view of the movie cards. Any last-minute ideas for it? I think it’s pretty solid for the first version. Note that this info card doesn’t have to just be used for movies. Can use it for TV shows, Youtube vids, etc. Can be used on all kinds of sites which feature media content. That includes video and audio (music & podcasts). Just use your imagination.
Before I release this in an update, I am going to at least complete the app info card as well. Maybe later today or tomorrow.
As mentioned in the past, I hope that if anyone is using this on multiple sites for clients, please do factor the cost into their invoice and purchase the addon each time. If you purchased the pack a while back and appreciate all of the new elements that have been added, please consider a donation. As with the proceeds of the addon pack, I will donate to various charities…..a coffee here or there notwithstanding.
THANK YOU!
August 6, 2019 at 12:21 am #1124921UPDATE
This is a bigger update. Please note that if you use the Modern Product and Modern Promo elements, you will likely need to re-setup those elements as the code was updated. Before you update those elements, be prepared to set aside the time to fix them wherever they’re used on your site(s).
There are two new elements. Movie Card & App Card.
Movie Card – A responsive element that will allow you to display details about media such as movies, tv shows, YouTube series, podcasts, etc. Great for review sites or when you want to promote one as a featured element on the page.App Card – A responsive element to display app details.
In the future, this concept will be modified as a general promo element and one specific for products in WooCommerce.
As previously mentioned, if you are using these elements on your client’s sites, please build the price of this element into your pricing and purchase it with every use. If you purchased the addon in the past, please consider showing your appreciation for the new additions and further development by making a donation via one of the methods below. All proceeds, minus a coffee or two, will be donated. Thank you!!!

August 9, 2019 at 7:56 pm #1126327SMALL UPDATE
Am I the only one who hates how the edit link on the front-end opens the backend in the same window? Or you have to Ctrl-click to open in a new tab? All when you just needed to make a quick update to something? Then you end up with all these open tabs….yada yada yada…
So I updated the Edit Button element to have the option between the current method of redirecting you to the back-end….OR….you can now have the back-end edit screen open in a popup modal window right on top of the front-end page you’re editing! This will allow you to quickly make an update, save, close the modal and hit refresh without having to wait for a redirect or switching between tabs.
If you purchased the addon in the past, please consider showing your appreciation for the new additions and further development by making a donation via one of the methods below. All proceeds, minus a coffee or two, will be donated. Please don’t forget to buy the addon for each client you use the addons with, just as you would with Enfold itself. Thank you!!!
September 13, 2019 at 1:04 am #1137734Putting the elements on sale for a while! If you have any new element requests, just let me know! If you appreciate the updates and have purchased this element pack in the past, please remember to purchase again each time you use it with a new website or client. Or you can show your appreciation by buying me a coffee with a donation to any of the services above. Thank you!
October 18, 2019 at 8:30 am #1149173I appreciate your work. It is great.
A woocommerce product card would be nice. I like the movie cardOctober 30, 2019 at 8:34 pm #1152505@ramotzkie – I am working on that next. The trick with that one would be how to include the product image in such a way where it isn’t just a background image, rather something that can be featured without detracting from the overall look of the card that the others have.
October 30, 2019 at 8:46 pm #1152508MINOR UPDATE
I have updated the modern promo to include most of the default Enfold image sizes. Don’t know why I didn’t have those there before. So now with sizes like the “featured large” one, you can have a promo that is more of a banner.
I also fixed a small bug that didn’t fill the element with the image if the element size was larger than the image size being used.
In the future I will work on a custom size option where you can have full control over the size options for the image element to cover case uses where the image size options included aren’t what you need for your specific uses.Also….if you have already purchased the addon before and want to or are already using it on multiple sites….please consider purchasing the addon for each use. I am donating the proceeds (minus a coffee here and there). Feel free to show your appreciation and make a donation below for any amount you deem fair for multiple uses of the addon.
As always, share your ideas of current elements and for new ones you would like to see. The element ideas that I am more willing to create would be ones that can have multiple uses…blogs, pages, products, etc. That doesn’t mean I won’t consider any for specific use cases that involve popular plugins as I have done with ACF.
Thank you!!!
November 20, 2019 at 2:39 am #1158330There are some updates coming. Several new WooCommerce elements and some small fixes to others.
Also….I will be updating elements one at a time to include proper scheme structured data to better help everyone’s page SEO for search results.
That said, I will also be re-evaluating how this add-on is sold and updates are delivered. I’ve been working on this project for quite a while now and I get the feeling that it is being used on multiple sites per purchase. In other words, people aren’t coming back to purchase a new copy for each use. Given the low price of this addon, it shouldn’t be an issue to include it in the price structure for those building sites for others. The honor system just isn’t working sadly.
November 20, 2019 at 10:19 pm #1158612Here is a preview of what is coming with the SEO improvements. This specifically is for the App Card Element and shows validation testing.
What does this actually do? Search engines like Google will scrape the microdata included in the code to better display details in search results. Here is an example:
As previously mentioned, I will be taking the time to go through ALL of the elements in my addon and updating the code to include specific microdata that applies. This will take a little time and I will push updates in chunks. Please….please do re-buy the addon for each website you use it on. It is only $25 right now.
November 21, 2019 at 1:07 am #1158657On a related note… What plugins for WordPress and/or WooCommerce are you using? If it makes sense and can be done, I’ll try to add some elements for them.
November 21, 2019 at 12:14 pm #1158792November 21, 2019 at 5:22 pm #1158854This reply has been marked as private.November 22, 2019 at 1:44 pm #1159136November 25, 2019 at 10:26 pm #1160058I am working on an update as WooCommerce has changed the code for displaying a single product card. Actually, the killed the shortcode they used to have. So I am doing a workaround so we can have it back!
November 26, 2019 at 6:33 pm #1160421Hey, devs! Need a wee bit of help. As I mentioned in my last message, WooCommerce…..for some crazy reason…..removed the shortcode for displaying a single product card. I know exactly how to get it back, but the problem I am coming across has to do with the customization I did to the editor element display. Prior to this change, I had it set with some simple code to display the name of the product in the editor element instead of the element’s name. Almost a necessity when you have a single product to display and have multiple ones.
The problem is that when I include the same code or some updated version, it will show the product name in the editor element….but then break the whole element on the front end. It seems to be the act of calling the product name that does it and I can’t figure out why. The code is really simple and basic. See below (private content).
Ideas?
November 27, 2019 at 9:26 pm #1160804Ok folks… I am going to be pushing an update today. It will include some big SEO updates to some elements, a new element, and due to the number of elements I am breaking the add-on up into two separate packs. The main element will include the “Spiderfly Elements” and “ACF” tabs and will be the main updated pack for those who purchased the pack prior to this point. The WooCommerce elements will be split off into their own add-on pack that will need to be purchased in order to get future updates to those.
I am doing this because the pack is growing and for the sheer amount of time going into it and that it appears few are purchasing a new copy for each site they use it on…enough funds aren’t coming in to motivate me to really put much more work into it. Again, aside from a coffee here and there, what little proceeds come in are donated.
That all said….if you purchased the add-on within the last 60 days, I will be emailing you an unique coupon code to get the WooCommerce pack for just $5.
If you do not wish to buy the updated versions, the current versions you have will work just fine up until either updated code to Enfold or Woocommerce is pushed which may affect an element. Sorry folks….but I gotta do what I gotta do to keep this going as I have a lot of ideas and updates coming down the pipe.
Don’t forget, you can send me ideas.
November 27, 2019 at 9:31 pm #1160806OH!!! Additionally, anyone who uses the donation QR codes above and includes the order number & email address from the receipt from when you purchased the add-on and makes a donation of $10 or more will get the WooCommerce element add-on for FREE even if you purchased the addon two years ago.
Of course, donations to motivate future development are always welcome. I will be using the proceeds to buy toys for shelters to give out to kids.
November 28, 2019 at 9:54 am #1160894That’s unfortunate to hear. We purchased the addon primarily for WooCommerce but also for ACF fields, but haven’t actually had the need to use it yet. Hearing that we’ll not be getting updates on one or the other now is disappointing.
November 28, 2019 at 10:40 am #1160897You can still get the updates, they will simply be sold separately. With the sheer number of elements included and the work that has gone into it, I have little choice. The original version only had a handful of elements. There are a lot more now. I also have offered discounts for those who have purchased within the past couple months.
December 1, 2019 at 5:11 am #1161557UPDATES
As previously mentioned, the new update will break the addon pack into two. One for the Spiderfly and ACF elements, and one for the WooCommerce elements. The pack as grown so large it only makes sense to do so. If you purchased the old version within the past 60 days, I will update your order to allow you to download both packs once for free.
The Spiderfly Elements has a new element called Editor Notes. What does this do? It simply allows you to insert notes into the editor, which is helpful as a reminder to yourself or to others who have access to edit pages/posts/portfolios, etc. The element has no call for the front end and will not even show in the page code should anyone view the page source.
Here are the updated product links to purchase and download. I hope you understand the reasons for breaking them apart and enjoy all the updates so far & those to come.
NOTE – Please read the updated installation instructions found on each product page as it will require a slight modification to the standard Enfold code used to call custom elements.
December 1, 2019 at 12:21 pm #1161588hi kahil – looks very nice
are the new possibilites of developer tab are included to your alb elements? Custom Class and ID etc.?December 1, 2019 at 7:16 pm #1161658@Guenni007 – yes, the elements which that would apply have that feature. They also all have unique IDs or classes in their CSS to make it easy for you to modify on your own.
December 2, 2019 at 1:02 am #1161698Hi,
Your “Editor Notes” looks pretty cool, does it add on to any element or just the elements in your package?Best regards,
MikeDecember 2, 2019 at 2:44 am #1161710It’s just an element in the pack. I just place it above the element it is meant to be about.
