    HI guys,

If you look at my site below (on a big screen, I’m using a 21 inch 4k iMac for instance) you’ll notice that the footer & socket is full-width as it should be.

Yet, on the custom 404 page ONLY, the footer & socket get constrained to the container width, along with some weird white space underneath the socket and also a white line separating the footer and the socket.

Even stranger, if you go directly to the custom 404 page using its URL, it all seems to work nicely. It seems to be ONLY when an ACTUAL 404 gets triggered that this issue happens.

Can you please work out what is going wrong with the custom 404? I’ve tried this in Safari and Chrome and same issue persists. I’ve tried re-updating the page, no luck.

    Thanks

    Hey THP,

Can you disable caching and minification for now?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Victoria,

To clarify, do you mean the caching/minification settings in Enfold itself, or also the LightSpeed caching plugin I’m running?

    Thanks

    Hi THP,

    Yes, both, please.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi THP,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi THP,

Thanks for giving us admin access.
The product slider is causing the weird issue and we have already reported this as a bug.
We will post back once we hear anything from our dev :)

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Nikko,

    Thanks for the feedback.

Seems like a very weird bug, but hopefully what you’ve found is the cause.

    Please keep me posted.

Do you still need the login? Can I re-enable all caching now?

    Cheers

Also, it seems you enabled the socket menu…I’m disabling it again as I don’t want it live.

Any other changes you made that I should be aware of? Did you do an image regen or something? Something has created 10GB of temp files seemingly related to imagik overnight.

    Thanks

    Hi THP,

Yes, we still need the login since our dev might need check on your site.
As for caching, yes you can re-enable it. For temporary solution, you can switch the 2nd and 3rd sections so the one with product slider would be placed at the bottom.
As for the changes, I have switched the theme temporarily (several seconds) from child to parent and back again and saving the 404 page as template.

    Thanks

    Hi THP,

Yes, the issue is fixed in Enfold 4.5.6. Please don’t forget to backup your site first.
I have tested it also on my end to confirm. :)

    Best regards,
    Nikko
