    Hello,
    I’ve added a custom menu on my site and I’d like to know how I would go about adding class to it so that current menu item would also be showing on it.

    Hi Zigabeton!

    Please go to Appearance > Menus and click “screen options” on the top right corner and check “CSS classes” and then edit your custom link menu item and give it a custom CSS class.

    Okay, thanks for your response but I was not clear enough in my opening post.

    I’m calling all the categories on the custom category page and I’d like that when I’m on the page the menu item would also be getting current_page_item class added to it, the same way that main menu is getting it.

    So if you have any quick and easy solution then tell me otherwise I’ll just add some jQuerry to the page.

    Hi,

    Can you give us a link? so we can inspect it further. You can place it in the Private Content section when you reply so it’s only visible to Moderators.
