Dear Enfold Team,
Great theme. Great functionalities.
I’m using the paid version of enfold on my other site, docbyte.com and I want to update my current website (docshifter.com) to the paid theme.
However , I have a very important question.
What will happen to my current settings,pages,posts when I update the theme to the paid version? Will I have to re-configure all the pages and do everything from scratch, or will I be able to keep everything the same?
That’s currently the only thing from keeping me away from going for the paid version of the Enfold Theme on docshifter.com.

In fact, Enfold does not have a free version so you must be using an pirated copy and sadly most of the times those versions are modified by pirates therefore you might need to reconfigure Enfold theme options after you install legal updated version of the theme.
However if they have not modified theme files, you can go ahead and update the theme to the latest version and your content, settings etc. would all remain the same. We would recommend you to create a testing environment and update the theme there firstly to check if anything breaks, but as i mentioned as long as theme files are not modified, that would not be the case :)

Thank you for letting me know that we’re using a pirated copy. It’s absolutely not honest to do that, so I’ll purchase it asap. It was before when I joined the team…. :-)
I’ll create a staging environment to test & apply everything.
If something comes up, I’ll ping again.
